ABOUT DREW
Growing up in a small town southeast of Pittsburgh, PA, Drew began playing piano at the age of three. As a true prodigy, by the time he reached the age of five, he could play over thirty Beatles songs on the piano. And this was long before he took his first piano lesson! Through his childhood years, Drew continued on his own, developing his piano technique and his ear-training. By the age of seven, he could listen to any song on the radio, and instantly, on piano keys, reproduce exactly what he had just heard. Through his teen years, Drew continued to play and improve as an artist, winning high-school talent shows and writing original compositions to accompany plays performed at his high-school.
Drew went on to college and studied music at the Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education. There he studied extensively and became proficient in several styles of piano, including classical, ragtime, jazz, pop/rock. After graduating in 1996, Drew began playing piano and singing at clubs and private events in the Pittsburgh area. In the years to follow, Drew would find himself playing for some of the most renowned piano clubs in the country, including Jellyrolls at Walt Disney World, and Crocodile Rocks in Myrtle Beach, SC. Performances at clubs and private events have showcased Drew’s talent all over North America. Drew has become one of the country’s most accomplished piano entertainers, where his charming stage presence, musical excellence, and incredibly large song catalogue (over 5000 songs) remain in demand by corporations, club-owners, event-planners and professional sports teams. Drew resides in his western Pennsylvania home with his family.
